Agape Christian Institution

The need for education in Haiti is staggering, as nearly half of all school-age children do not have the opportunity to attend school. This lack of education has contributed to the ongoing cycle of poverty that has plagued Haiti for decades.

Agape Christian Institution was founded in 2005 by Pastor Jean Martin Etienne and his wife Jacquemise to address the issue.  The school is located in Port au Prince and currently has 110 students enrolled in Grades Kindergarten through 7.

Your sponsorship at only $32 per month will provide a quality, Christian education for one of the students below.

Age: 12

Tamar is from a very poor family. Her father has abandonned their house and her mother is the one taking care of three children. She is having a really hard time taking care of them, especially paying their school tuition.
