Nehemie lives with her dad and grandma in Luly, Haiti. Luly is a small fishing village along the western coast of Haiti. Nehemie's dad works as a mason but struggles to find work and afford school tuition. He describes his daughter as playful and outspoken. A sponsorship would help Nehemie attend school and break the cycle of illiteracy and poverty in her family.
