Owning land in Haiti is a wonderful heritage to pass onto your children. This is a dream of Wylia & Jean Hypolite who work selling clothing in the market in Williamson, Haiti.
While their business provides enough income to meet their daily needs, it does not leave much extra to purchase the land where they currently pay rent on a small tin house.
Thanks to amazing World Wide Village supporters like you, Wylia and Jean recently received the gift of goats!
Now their dream to purchase the land to pass down to their children can soon become a reality. The two goats they received will have babies and become four goats. Those four goats will soon become eight. You get the picture!
As their herd grows, they will be able to sell goats in the market and earn enough extra income to purchase the land where they live. What a blessing to be able to build a house on your own land to raise your young family. They will finally have a place to call home.
