Randy and Patricia Mortensen

President and VP/Admin Director

Randy Mortensen has been an entrepreneur most of his life and strives to use business as a way to alleviate poverty and make an impact in the world. Pat is a past business owner and an advocate of education as a means to eliminating dependency. Randy and Pat have been traveling to Haiti and leading World Wide Village since 2006 and are passionate about the Haitian people and Jesus Christ. Both also serve on the Board of Directors for WWV.

Peter 

Operations Manager

Peter has worked for World Wide Village since 2009 as the operations manager. He acts as a community liaison for projects in the rural areas. His engaging personality helps make an experience enjoyable for our teams. Peter lived in the United States for 30+ years. He now lives in the Luly area of Haiti and is married and has two children.

Jamil 

Logistics and Procurement Manager

Jamil started his tenure with World Wide Village in 2009 as a warehouse manager. Since then he has evolved to managing all aspects of finances, logistics and procurement in Haiti. If we need it, Jamil can find it… at the best price! Jamil lived in the United States for eight years and now lives in Port au Prince. He has seven grown children.

Anel 

Construction Project Manager

Anel has worked with World Wide Village for a number of years.  His integrity and construction knowledge have earned him a promotion to Construction Project Manager.  Anel has also been known to passionately share the gospel, even bringing the young man in this photo to Christ. Anel is married and has two little girls.

Magdala

Healthy Mothers + Healthy Babies Program Director

Magdala is a Registered Nurse and trained Midwife. She received extensive education in midwifery through Midwives for Haiti. She started the Healthy Mothers + Healthy Babies program for World Wide Village in 2021. She is passionate about maternal health, family planning and health education for young women. Magdala is married with a young child. 

Kim Anderson

Board Member/Volunteer Student Sponsorship Director

Kim Anderson was trained with a master’s degree in geriatric social work and now helps with communications and student sponsorship for WWV, while staying home with her three children. Kim and her husband, Matt, travel to Haiti twice per year to work in the WWV medical clinic to provide medical care and share the love of Christ.

Stacy Lenz

Administration/Database Manager

Stacy has taken over in our MN office as Administration/Database Manager. She plays an instrumental role in managing our database, processing donations and managing all our team trips. Stacy is passionate about WWV’s vision and helping to give others a hand up, not a handout. Stacy lives in Coon Rapids, MN with her husband, Travis and their daughter.

Greg Ackerson

Greg Ackerson is an entrepreneur who founded three of the first For Benefit Corporations in the State of Minnesota. In addition to serving on the Board, he has been leading WWV mission trips to Haiti with his wife, Lori, since 2012. Greg is instrumental in leading the WWV construction projects and solar power projects in Haiti. 

 

Lori Ackerson

Lori Ackerson is a Registered Nurse from Oak Grove, MN. She loves her time in Haiti doting on all of the amazing children she has met and especially loves the trips she can share with her daughter. Lori plays an important role in the Healthy Mothers + Healthy Babies program thanks to her medical experience.

 

Matt Anderson

Matt is a physician and Senior Vice President of Primary Care with Atrium Health based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 2013, Matt has worked to care for the people of Haiti physically and spiritually in a unique model that aims to bless them with health as well as a deeper knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. Originally from Iowa, Matt lives in South Carolina with his wife, Kimberly, and their three children.

Bill Brass

Bill Brass is newly retired from being a project manager for Morcon Construction out of Minnesota. He has been instrumental in starting and leading the WWV Goat Program. He has also been invaluable in offering his expertise in training the WWV construction crew and in leading construction projects in Haiti. Learn more about Bill’s heart for Haiti here.

Chad Streit

Chad Streit is a high school special education teacher at the Clear Creek Amana School District in Tiffin, IA. He heads the Education Committee for WWV. Chad has been married to his wife, Jennifer, since 2003 and they have three boys.

Jennifer Streit

Jennifer Streit is a microbiologist/manager for JMI Labs in North Liberty, Iowa. She is part of the Marketing & Development committee for WWV. Jennifer and her husband, Chad, have 3 sons. Jennifer’s heart for serving the people of Haiti comes from her years of growing up with two adopted siblings from Haiti.
