Let’s Celebrate Haiti!
Haitian Flag Day is May 18th and we’re kicking off a celebration of student sponsorship!
During CELEBRATE HAITI, we need your help to find sponsors for 20 special students. Some of these students have fled their homes due to gang violence. One recently lost his mother. Many live in poverty day in and day out. All would be blessed to attend school!
Sponsorship would be a tremendous help to these students and their families. Will you spread the word?
Back by popular demand… PRIZES! To make this event even more exciting, we are offering prizes to all of our current sponsors who help recruit new sponsors through the month of May!
2023 Prizes:
- Recruit 1 New Sponsor: Receive a video interview of your own student and family.
- Recruit 2 New Sponsors: Earn a personal Zoom call with your sponsored student!
Tips for spreading the word:
- Share WWV Facebook and Instagram posts that highlight students in need of sponsorship.
- Email friends and family about the opportunity to sponsor a student and change a life. A personal ask goes a long way!
- Set up a table at your workplace or local business to highlight student sponsorship.
- Share about your own experiences of sponsoring a student through WWV.
- Host a Sponsorship Sunday at your church. We will give you everything you need to get started!
