Emmanuel Sainfleur is 13 years old. Emmanuel’s family was recently hit hard by poverty, and he worried he would need to drop out of school. Thankfully, a wonderful sponsor stepped in to provide help with tuition. Now he can continue studying his favorite subject – French!

Emmanuel attends the Armee du Salut school in Luly, Haiti. This is a Christ-centered school that pours into its students. Pastor Gary – the school administrator – often goes above and beyond. Besides leading the school, he also offers a weekend Youth Bible Club and encourages students from his school to attend. Pastor Gary knows it’s important for his students to fix their eyes on God instead of focusing on the problems in Haiti.

Emmanuel loves attending the Youth Bible Club and has been given opportunities to lead. Today, he is nicknamed “little pastor” because he’s always serving at church!

Sponsorship is allowing Emmanuel to continue in school, lead at his Youth Bible Club and grow in his faith. It’s keeping him off the streets and away from the pull of gang life. Young men like Emmanuel are the future of Haiti and sponsorship is building them up!

Our desire at World Wide Village is to see each child that steps into our schools have faith for eternity. Thank you for joining us in this mission to bring glory to God and further His Kingdom in Haiti!
