Gifts of Hope: Medication

Stroke is the number one cause of death in Haiti, brought about by high blood pressure. This can be especially dangerous for expectant mothers and their babies. Yet when families in Haiti have to choose between purchasing medication or food for their children, high blood pressure often goes untreated.

• A gift of $20 will provide life-saving medication for a patient for one month.
• A gift of $240 will provide that same medication for an entire year.
