The need for education in Haiti is staggering. Nearly half of all school-age children do not have the opportunity to attend school. This lack of education has perpetuated the cycle of illiteracy and poverty that has plagued Haiti for decades.

For $38 per month you can invest in the future of Haiti by providing a child the opportunity to attend a Christ-centered school. When you sponsor a child you provide help for today, hope for tomorrow, and faith for eternity.

CHILDREN IN NEED OF SPONSORSHIP:

Slowendy Lyndor: Good Samaritan School

Age: 5

School: Good Samaritan School

Slowendy Lyndor lives with his mom, grandma and two older sisters in Luly, Haiti. Luly is a small fishing village along the western coast of Haiti. Slowendy's mom sells Fritay (Haitian fried food) in the market but struggles to afford school tuition. Slowendy hopes to become a police officer someday and his mom hopes that he will have the opportunity to finish school - something she never had. A sponsorship would be such a blessing for Slowendy and his family!
