Education:

School is back in session! For months, political protests and roadblocks have kept children and teachers out of school, but we are thrilled to report that students are back to learning. The peace and calm in Haiti is definitely an answer to prayer!

We are so thankful for our wonderful student sponsors who have supported the teachers and schools during this time of struggle. In order to catch up on learning, the school year has been extended. Students will continue learning through the month of July and will also skip several holiday breaks to make up for lost time.

Many families are still in need after this season of turmoil. Student sponsorship is a wonderful way to help support families with children in rural Haiti. One specific family in need is the Bernard family – a family of teenage orphans. They lost their father when they were very young, and then lost their mother to cholera after the earthquake eight years ago. Since then they have defied the odds, continuing in school. Four of the seven Bernard siblings still need a sponsor. Can you help spread the word?

Sponsor a child. Change a life.
