Healthy Mothers + Healthy Babies:
Last month, over 130 patients were blessed with healthcare at Sant Sante Espwa as word of our new location continues to spread throughout the area.
Some patients are new mothers who are eager to keep their babies healthy. Other mothers are struggling to raise larger families and come into our clinic weary. Still others are teenagers who are unexpectedly pregnant and scared.
Thanks to you, all are offered healthcare and shown the love of Christ on a daily basis!
This month, we need your help to keep this program going strong! As more mothers seek care, we don’t want to turn away anyone who needs help. Today, would you consider making a one-time donation or starting a monthly gift to continue blessing moms and babies in Haiti?

NEWBORN BABY:
Back in February, a baby girl was born at Sant Sante Espwa. Even though she was full-term, this tiny baby weighed less than four pounds. As expected, this low birthweight concerned our midwife.
Seeking advice from a physician, our nurse and midwife worked with this young mother over the next several weeks to ensure this baby was receiving the nourishment she needed to thrive. Because the baby was unable to properly suck, it took extra care and attention to help her grow.

Today, this little girl is now over seven pounds and even has chubby cheeks!
Praise God for this precious life and for everyone involved in donating, praying, and caring for this mother and baby.
Please know your gifts matter!

MEDICATION:
While this picture might not look like much, having stocked shelves at Sant Sante Espwa is a big deal! It has become increasingly difficult to access medication in our area of Haiti, but thanks to your generosity, these shelves continue to hold life-saving medications for mothers and babies.
Whether it’s prenatal vitamins to keep mothers healthy during pregnancy, antibiotics that can fight infection, or medication to prevent high blood pressure and preeclampsia, these medications are vital to healthy mothers and healthy babies.

EDUCATION:
Students are taking second trimester tests this month in Haiti. With the start of school delayed due to gang violence, students will be attending school into the summer months to make up for lost learning.
Please pray for our students as they prepare for and take their exams. Our staff members in Haiti have expressed how difficult it is to concentrate as reports come through daily of gang violence overtaking new areas of Haiti.
Pray that God would help our students have clear minds as they head into exams, giving them peace as they trust in Him.
