Edens Fleurival and Evilson Meronvil are living proof of what can happen when opportunity meets determination. Both young men grew up in difficult circumstances in Haiti, where poverty and loss often threaten to end educational dreams far too early.
Yet today, they are not only continuing their studies, but they are doing so side by side as roommates and friends.

Edens is studying civil engineering at a college in Saint-Marc, Haiti – an opportunity made possible only through sponsorship. He grew up in a very poor family, carrying the weight of his mother’s ongoing health struggles. Despite these challenges, Edens has persevered with remarkable focus and resilience.
Through his studies, he has also gained access to specialized trainings in professional software like ArchiCAD, skills that set him apart from many of his peers and prepare him for meaningful employment in a field critical to Haiti’s development.

Evilson’s journey is equally inspiring. Raised in the mountains, his educational path seemed to end when his father passed away. But a sponsor chose Evilson, giving him the chance to continue his education.
Today, he is studying pre-med in college and recently completed a semester of internships at a hospital in Saint-Marc, Haiti near his university. Through hands-on experience, he is gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to one day serve others through healthcare.
As roommates, Edens and Evilson share more than a living space. They share encouragement, faith, and a deep understanding of what it means to overcome hardship. Their friendship has become a source of strength as they walk this demanding road together.
