Below you will find four ways to help. You can take items directly to Once Upon a Child Rock Hill, bring items to Forest Hill Church in April, or simply make a donation to provide education for a child in Haiti!

This April, donate your gently used clothing, shoes, and baby items to provide an education for children living in Haiti!

 

Below you will find four ways to help. You can take items directly to Once Upon a Child Rock Hill, bring items to Forest Hill Church in April, or simply make a donation to provide education for a child in Haiti!

 

Turn your extras into an education!

1. Take to Once Upon a Child Rock Hill

 

Take your gently used children’s items to Once Upon a Child Rock Hill. Mention Forest Hill Church and all funds will be donated to send children to school in Haiti!

 

ITEMS TO DONATE:

 

  • Clothing sizes preemie to youth size 20
  • Sleepwear, outerwear, costumes, dance wear, swimwear
  • Shoes, boots, sandals
  • Toys, books, and games (up to age 8)
  • Ride-on and outdoor toys
  • Baby gear – monitors, strollers, bouncy seats, highchairs
  • Full list of items to donate HERE! 

*Please place items neatly flat, freshly laundered, free of stains, and less than a couple years old in a box or bin. 

2. Take and Donate

 

Collect items you no longer need from home including men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, or a wide variety of sports equipment.

 

Visit local consignment shops such as Plato’s Closet, Clothes Mentor or Play It Again Sports in Rock Hill. Sell your items and donate the cash you receive to send children to school in Haiti!

 

3. Bring to church in April

 

Collect the items below you no longer need from home. Bring to church on April 14, 21, or 28. Volunteers will sell your items at local thrift shops to raise funds for children in Haiti!

 

ITEMS TO DONATE:

 

  • Women’s clothing (all sizes and seasons)
  • Women’s accessories (jewelry, handbags, hats, sunglasses)
  • Children’s clothing (all sizes and seasons)
  • Junior girls’ clothing (name brand)
  • Junior boys’ clothing (name brand)
  • Shoes, sandals, and boots
  • Toys, books, and games (up to age 8)
  • All items should be current styles and free of stains 

*Please no items with stains or more than a couple years old. Unsold items will be distributed to Palmetto Women’s Center, Tender Hearts, and Historic Paradise Foundation. 

4. Make a donation for education

 

Do you want to help send a child to school in Haiti above and beyond the thrifty fundraiser? You can! Consider giving a one-time gift to help send a child to school or donate monthly and choose a child to sponsor through World Wide Village!
