Alex and Marie Solange have full hearts and a full home. Now parents of five young children they live on the hills above Williamson, Haiti.
It’s been said that “a truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.” This was true of Alex last year as he struggled to provide for his children.
Alex is a loving father. Yet as life has become more difficult, it’s been hard to earn enough income to feed his growing family. Thanks to your generosity, Alex received the gift of goats last year! He has been working hard to care for his goats and multiply his herd.
Seeing his faithfulness to both his work and to his family, he was the perfect choice when World Wide Village needed to hire an assistant for the goat program. Alex now works under Phito Marcelus, also known as the “goat whisperer” in Haiti.
Phito is not only teaching Alex about goats, but also what it looks like to be a godly man and father.
