NEW CLASSROOM:
Because of the incredible generosity of our Giving Tuesday supporters, work is now underway on a new classroom at the Good Samaritan School! Each brick represents the power of generosity put into motion and the hope it brings. Thank you for being part of this impact and creating brighter futures, one student and one classroom at a time.
SCHOOL LUNCHES:
For many students in rural Haiti, a school lunch is much more than a meal, it’s fuel for learning and a reason to keep showing up each day. A hot lunch helps students stay focused in class, gives them energy to learn, and for some children, may be the most reliable meal they receive all day.
Knowing there will be food at school brings comfort and stability to students and their families alike. A big thank you to our amazing sponsors for making this lunch break at Armee du Salut School in Luly possible!
SEWING SCHOOL:
For sewing students in rural Haiti, practice truly makes perfect. With each stitch and every hour spent behind the sewing machine, they are building confidence and mastering a new skill that can one day become a profession. What begins as learning the basics is slowly turning into opportunity for income, independence and a future!
HEALTHCARE:
These three sweet babies pictured below need no introduction. Each one is a beautiful reminder of the gift and blessing of new life. At the same time, our hearts are heavy this month as we remember a recent tragedy. A young mother came into our clinic because she hadn’t felt her baby kicking. She had never sought healthcare earlier in pregnancy. Sadly, she delivered a stillborn baby boy at just 33 weeks.
Stories like these make us grieve deeply, and they strengthen our resolve to keep going. They remind us why it matters to reach more mothers with healthcare, education, and support early in pregnancy. Our hope is that fewer families have to experience this kind of loss, and more babies have the chance to thrive. Please join us in praying with this young mother who is grieving the loss of her child.
