NEW BABY!

Baby Bryan was born this month at the new location for Sant Sante Espwa! His mother was so grateful when our medical center opened close to home, as she feared gang violence would interfere with a safe delivery. You can read her story from last month HERE!

Our midwife and nurse continue to care for moms, babies, and many others who come through their doors needing medical care. Thank you for making this possible!

EDUCATION:

After a nationwide lockdown “peyi lok” last month, schools are open once again. It is a blessing to see students lined up at the flag pole at Armee du Salut as they raise the Haitan flag and pray together for their country.

Please continue to join our Haitian friends in praying for peace and justice in Haiti.

Follow along on Facebook, Instagram, or our website for weekly prayer prompts for the people and country of Haiti.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE:

The needs in Haiti are great, but our God is greater! Because you have followed God’s call to “open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor,” many families are receiving emergency help during their darkest days. This help has come in the form of rent assistance when a family was on the street and needed a safe place to live. Other times it has come in the form of micro-grants like Mr. Francois’ story above.

For Bethina and her young children (pictured below) it came in the form of emergency medical care and ongoing food assistance when she was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Thank you for choosing to do good in the world through World Wide Village!

What’s Happening in Haiti?

Daphca is a picture of persistence and is now attending sewing school!

We first met Wiseline as a malnourished 18-month-old. Today she is thriving!

Leo has a heart for Haiti. We hope his story encourages you going above and beyond!
