In Romans 12, the apostle Paul reminds us to “rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.” This past month has been filled with moments for both.

We weep alongside the family of our dear friend and president, Randy Mortensen. Our hearts are heavy as we imagine life and ministry without his steady presence and passionate vision. Yet we find comfort in the hope of eternal life, knowing that Randy is now in the presence of his Savior.

God gave Randy remarkable gifts – an entrepreneurial spirit, the courage to dream big, and the faith to step forward boldly.

Through these gifts, he left a lasting legacy of lives touched through coaching, mentoring, philanthropy, and sharing the gospel.

In lieu of flowers, which fade with time, the family kindly requests that donations be made to World Wide Village, so that his legacy of service may continue. Donate to honor Randy’s legacy here.

SANT SANTE ESPWA

At the same time that we weep over this heavy loss, we rejoice as new life and new beginnings unfold in Haiti. We celebrate the healthy cries of newborn babies delivered safely at Sant Sante Espwa, thanks to your ongoing support of this wonderful program! We also recognize the graduates of the recent training for traditional birth attendants. Your generosity is changing lives in Haiti, one safe birth at a time!

NEW HEADQUARTERS

We are grateful for God’s provision of a new, secure headquarters for our World Wide Village Haitian staff. While it’s heartbreaking to move out of a place with so many memories, our new location will be a great improvement for our staff in Haiti. This new headquarters located just 15 minutes south of Williamson will provide a safe place for everyone on the ground in Haiti to continue their vital work.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES

Graduating from high school in Haiti is a tremendous accomplishment—something only one in three students achieve, with even fewer reaching this milestone in rural communities. Each diploma represents perseverance through incredible challenges, and each graduate’s success was made possible by the faithful support of their sponsors. Meet a few of those special graduates here!
