When Pastor Martin fled his home in Port-au-Prince he left behind his church, his community, his life. Gang violence had taken over his neighborhood, and the church he once pastored was no longer safe.
He was forced to leave behind everything—except his faith.
Pastor Martin and his wife resettled in a quiet mountain community in Haiti called Bail-Savanette. They had no building, no congregation—just a calling to serve God’s people. So, they began to gather a few families under a simple tarp roof to pray and worship together.
For generations, the people of Bail have lived under the shadow of voodoo. But slowly, light is beginning to break through. Thanks to Pastor Martin’s faithfulness, men, women, and children have been hearing about Jesus—many for the very first time.
Lives have been changed. Families have been restored. Hope has taken root, and a new church has been born. This new church plant is now called Agape Victory Church—a place where God’s love and victory can shine through.
The story of Agape Victory church echoes Genesis 50:20: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.” What began as loss has become a story of redemption—proof that God’s light still shines in the darkest places.
In just two short weeks—on Giving Tuesday—you will have an incredible opportunity to support Agape Victory Church. More details coming soon!
