Anyomi and Elita have always had a heart to bring glory to God by getting married, but living in poverty has made it very difficult to save enough money for a marriage license and a wedding.
Earlier this year, thanks to your support of World Wide Village, this sweet couple was able to stand before God and commit to one another in marriage. They were thrilled to say “I do” alongside a small group of friends and family. Here at World Wide Village we believe that marriage is an amazing way to bring glory to God!
Even with the joy of being married, life in Haiti can be difficult. “After we got married, I got sick and wasn’t able to work,” Anyomi says. He worried that his children would have to drop out of school.
Thanks to our amazing student sponsors, all of their school-age children are now sponsored, and these proud parents can be hopeful for a brighter future!
Anyomi and Elita now have joy in following God as a married couple and peace of mind knowing their children can attend school, no matter the struggle.
