There’s nothing more touching than watching a child in Haiti receive a special gift from their sponsor. It really can be so significant in the life of a child. With this in mind, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to give a special Easter gift to your sponsored student.
For $20 you can provide:
- “The Story of Jesus” booklet that was recently translated into Creole
- A printed school photo – very special to children in Haiti
- A letter and photo from your family
- Another small gift – depending on the age & gender of your student
Here’s how to get started:
Step 1: E-mail a family photo and a short note for your sponsored student to Kim Anderson at kanderson@worldwidevillage.org by February 14th. We will print your photo and letter and will include them in the gift bag for your student. Read tips on writing to your sponsored student and the impact these letters can have on our BLOG.
Step 2: Visit our website and donate $20 to “Easter Gifts for Students” before February 14th. (Any additional donations will go toward providing gifts for students who are not yet sponsored.)
Step 3: Easter gift bags will be delivered to all students in the WWV schools. What a great way to celebrate Easter and the resurrection of our Savior!
