Papa, Pa, Papi. In honor of Father’s Day, we are celebrating fathers in Haiti today. Your support of World Wide Village is blessing many fathers in Williamson & Luly, each and every day!

  • When you give to the goat program, you are providing fathers with a new livelihood and sustainable way to earn an income.
  • Your donations to the Cornerstone Club provide salaries to faithful men who work for World Wide Village and care for their own families.
  • Many fathers in Haiti work as teachers. When you sponsor a student, you are supporting teachers in the local schools.

The list could go on and on because you are helping fathers in Haiti in so many ways. We want you to meet three of those fathers who are living, working, and leading their families in Haiti. You are building up these men through your generosity. Please enjoy their stories as our way of saying thanks!

JEAN LECLERC PHILISTIN is a teacher and knows the importance of learning. Yet poverty in Haiti has made it nearly impossible for LeClerc to send his own children to school.

PHITO MARCELUS, known as “The Goat Whisperer” has been working with WWV over the last eight years. He is a hard-working, dependable employee, and a devoted father.

ALEX JEAN is a young father of five. You gave Alex the gift of goats last year when he was struggling. Seeing his faithfulness in raising his own goats, he is now working with WWV.
