Service Testimonials

Can’t wait to bring a team back to work with WWV. It was a life-changing experience for all of us!
Just wanted to thank everyone again for the great experience. It was quite literally life changing and has truly changed my perspective on a great many things. So again, thank you for this experience and I can’t wait to return.
Happy to build this year in the community. Interacting with the Pastor and the kids was fantastic.
There is no question that WWV does an awesome job at bringing infrastructure to Haiti and there is no question that it is very much needed. I believe there are a very large percentage of churches from a variety of faiths that come thru WWV to build, paint, and work to provide for the physical needs of the Haitian people and this is so important.
It was the spiritual kick in the butt that I really needed!!
The focus on understanding the country, culture, and the challenges is so incredibly important. There is a tendency for all of us to jump into situations without truly understanding the problems and, because of that, either just tread water or do more harm than good. The focus on understanding helped me appreciate just how important it is to take a deep breath, and force yourself to resist the urge to jump right in. Because of this approach, it is clear how much WWV focuses on sustainable solutions that will create opportunities in the long term. The focus on understanding and long term, sustainable solutions is a defining aspect of WWV and something that I find incredibly important.
Be prepared to be rocked by God! Especially if it is your first time out of the US as it was for me!
I really enjoyed that there was a clear effort to help all of us understand the Haitian culture and get a better understanding of the problems that the country and people were facing. That focus on understanding is unique among volunteer organizations and is a very welcome change.

[Working] alongside the Haitian people on the church building project was a highlight!  At the end of the week it was clear as we all said goodbye to the people we’d met with tears in our eyes, that friendships had been formed…
