SAFE HOUSING
We know that a healthy home is a necessity for sustainable living, so several new homes for families in need are in the works for 2019. The WWV Haitian construction crew will be quite busy over the next several months building safe homes. Our construction crew has been trained in best-practices to build sturdy, long-lasting homes.
World Wide Village Wells:
The WWV wells continue to serve fresh water to thousands of residents of Williamson, Haiti. What a blessing it is for so many families to now have better access to clean water for cooking, laundry, bathing and all of life’s needs. Women and children could spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Better access to clean water means more time for education, earning an income and better health. Clean water can change everything. We are so thankful for those of you who saw a need, stepped up and gave to make this happen!
Education:
Students are back in school after Christmas break. They continue to learn and grow thanks to so many wonderful student sponsors! Our amazing Haitian staff is also hard at work interviewing your sponsored students so you can learn more about them and their life in Haiti very soon.
