TUTORING:

There are many barriers to learning. Poverty, learning disorders and stress at home can all make it difficult for students to learn. To combat these issues, you are providing tutoring to students in the WWV partner schools who are struggling to pass their classes.

Your generosity is making this possible. Thank you!

FOOD PACKAGES:

Members of the local church in Williamson and Luly are caring well for those who have been displaced by violence. Yet many of those families struggle with poverty and feeding extra mouths can be a struggle. A special thanks to Grace Community Church for providing food packs that are being distributed to pastors who are part of the WWV Pastors Coalition. We are helping the church be the church! More information coming soon.

MOTHER’S DAY:

Mother’s Day was celebrated in Haiti on May 28th. To recognize the beautiful, loving, hard-working, resilient, strong mamas in Haiti, the Youth Bible Club in Luly invited their mothers to a special celebration.

The day was made special with singing, snacks and tributes to the wonderful mothers.

SOCCER CHAMPIONS:

The Luly School won the regional soccer championship! These young men are choosing education, friendship, competition and sportsmanship over the lure of gangs that many young men in Haiti are pulled into.

Several of the boys are part of the sponsorship program and we are so very proud of their hard work. Congrats!

YOUTH BIBLE CLUB:

Youth Bible Clubs in Luly continue to draw children closer to Jesus.

This last month, students received a meal during their group while being reminded that all good things come from God!  Your support of World Wide Village is helping make this possible. Thank you!
