February Field Update

WWV Pastors’ Coalition:

  • Pastor Chrisner shared that churches in Williamson, Luly and all around Haiti gathered the evening of January 21st to pray for their country in honor of the 7th anniversary of the Haiti earthquake.
  • Pastor Ives has been using a model of Biblical soul care (CARE) he learned from WWV partner pastors as he leads the men and women in his church. He says he has also seen multiplication in his men’s groups!
    • C – Connect with compassion
    • A – Assess the heart
    • R – Respond in truth and grace
    • E – Encourage
  • Pastor Willy is praying for his church to follow the Word of God over the tradition and culture of Haiti.
  • Pastor Joassaint was happy to report that he is now leading two groups of men.  These groups alternate in gathering for prayer and gathering to hold crusades in their community where they bring in guest speakers — often other pastors from the WWV Pastor’s Coalition.

Pastor and Mrs. Joassaint also have exciting news — they are expecting another baby this summer!  What a blessing for this baby to join such a loving family.  Please join us in praying for a healthy pregnancy and smooth delivery.

Goats, Goats and More Goats:

  • Many families have received goats over the last several weeks thanks to donations from our amazing supporters.  We caught a short video of one family with their brand new goats. The Verne Family was thrilled to receive these goats – thanks to your generosity – and this gift will provide so many wonderful opportunities for their family as their herd grows.

Solar Panel Depot:

  • Progress is also being made on the garage/depot that is being built by the WWV construction crew near the well.  The roof of the depot will house the solar panels that will help power the pump at the well in Williamson. We’re “pumped” to have a renewable energy source for our well!
